We aimed to create a simple but comprehended design that could hold within the traditional associations connected to financial institutions but at the same time look new and daring. It was also important to underline the idea of “fast” and give a sense of rapidness through design. Of course, when it comes to any type of financial institution, including banks, blue is the go-to color, since it symbolizes calmness, stability, and trustworthiness. The incorporation of the violet color into our branding intricately reflects the inherent character of our primary brand.
Moreover, its vibrant nature harmoniously aligns with the ethos of digital banking, enhancing our brand’s resonance within this technological landscape. Especially in the crypto and tech-oriented industries, purple is the best choice, because it helps to easily break away from the traditions and also to use the symbolism behind purple as the royal color, to associate with wealth and luxury. So our team saw the main purpose of the design to illustrate the transformative essence of this bank. This is why we added some other colors to this standard “banking palette” consisting of shades of blue and shades of purple. We chose pink and orange as good additions to our palette. So we selected these colors and created a gradient scheme, which to us represents the transformative character of the brand simultaneously showing its wide range of products and services. Any color or shape that is considered “daring” in a more or less traditional product should be used carefully and in balance. Our “balancing point” in this design solution was the font. We chose a very sophisticated and simple font, which was bringing back the desired sense of stability.
The font is slightly aligned to the right, to add a bit of dynamics to it and give a slight sense of movement, which was very important to have in the design of this product. What we achieved in the end, was a perfect blend of something familiar and something radically new, which to us perfectly illustrated the new
dimension this brand aims to go to and the new reality we all live.
